And if you decide to hire a residential cleaning company, make sure that all employees pass the background check. All it takes is for you to ask for proof and it's the cleaning company's responsibility to prove that a background check was conducted.
Tip #4 - The previous three tips are extremely important if you want an honest, dependable and hard working maid service to assist with your cleaning needs. But you also need to know where to find a professional maid service. The average homeowner can pick up the yellow pages and scroll the phonebook. You can search online using Google or Yahoo. And more than likely, at least one of your neighbors already uses a cleaning service. So you can also ask your neighbors for a referral. But there's one thing you should never do when searching locally cleaning service. Don't just hire a maid because their rates are lower than everyone else's rates. In the maid service business, anyone can start a cleaning service. And ultimately, just about anyone will start a cleaning service. There's almost no overhead, so being cheap is very easy. Being honest is not easy. Being on time every time is not easy. And working hard time after time is also not easy. Ask the right questions when you pick up the yellow pages!
